Gilmour Clausen

Director, Executive Chair

Mr. Clausen is one of the founders of Plata Latina. Mr. Clausen has a proven track record of successful leadership in the mining industry, with over 30 years of executive, financial, operations, business development, engineering and project management experience. He has led major mining operations, raised over a billion dollars in debt and equity, and managed large engineering and construction projects. He was most recently President and CEO and Director of Copper Mountain Mining Corporation, which was successfully acquired by Hudbay Minerals Inc. in June 2023. Prior to that, Mr. Clausen was a founding member, President and CEO and Director of Brio Gold Inc., which was acquired by Leagold Mining Corp in May 2018, as well as a founding shareholder, President and CEO and Director of Augusta Resource Corporation, which was acquired by Hudbay Minerals Inc. in September 2014. Mr. Clausen was also Executive Vice President, Mining at Washington Group, International Inc., Vice President Operations at Stillwater Mining, and held various operating roles at Placer Dome.

Mr. Clausen Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University.

Letitia Wong

Director

Ms. Wong has 20 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, strategic transactions including closing three major corporate acquisitions and asset divestitures, various forms of financings, finance and corporate governance in the mining industry. She was most recently Chief Financial Officer at Copper Mountain Mining Corporation before it was acquired by Hudbay Minerals Inc. in 2023. Prior, she was Vice President, Corporate Development and Corporate Secretary at Brio Gold Inc., which was acquired in 2018. Ms. Wong has also been Vice President, Investor Relations at Augusta Resource Corporation, which was acquired in 2014, Wildcat Silver (Arizona Mining), and Ventana Gold, which was acquired in 2011. Ms. Wong was also formerly Director of Investor Relations at Yamana Gold and held various finance positions at TELUS Communications.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and is a CFA Charterholder.

Joseph Longpre

Director, Audit Committee Chair

Mr. Longpre has over 35 years of finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management experience in the mining and metals industry and is a seasoned CFO. Prior to retirement, Mr. Longpre was previously CFO of Brio Gold Inc. and CFO of Augusta Resource Corporation. Mr. Longpre was also Vice President at URS Corporation and Managing Director at BMO Capital Markets. He has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Saskatchewan, as well as an MBA from Columbia Business School. Mr. Longpre is a CMA, CPA.

Lance Newman

Director, Audit Committee Member

Mr. Newman has 35 years of experience in project development, processing, concentrating, smelting and refining operations in base and precious metals. Mr. Newman also has extensive experience in technical services and corporate development. Mr. Newman was most recently Senior Vice President, Project Development at Copper Mountain Mining Corporation, before the company was acquired by Hudbay Minerals Inc. in 2023. Previously, he was Senior Vice President, Technical Services at Brio Gold Inc., which was acquired by Leagold Mining Corp in 2018, and Vice President, Project Development at Augusta Resource Corporation, which was acquired by Hudbay Minerals Inc. in 2014. Mr. Newman also held various senior technical and operating positions including being refinery manager and plant superintendent at Stillwater Mining Company and Gold Fields Limited.

Mr. Newman holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry from Rhodes University and is a graduate of the Management Advancement Program at the University of Witwatersrand Graduate School of Business.

Rod Pace

Director

Mr. Pace has over 30 years of global mining experience, focused on project development and operational management in base and precious metals, coal and industrial minerals. Mr. Pace is currently the Founder and Principal of Pace Consulting, a consulting firm focused on technical due diligence on assets for the main purpose of M&A. Previously, Mr. Pace was President and CEO of Rosemont Copper Company and Chief Operating Officer of Augusta Resource Corporation, until its acquisition by Hudbay Minerals Inc. in 2014. Prior to that, he was at Washington Group International, Inc., where he held various engineering positions including Vice President of North American Operations, when he was responsible for eight operating mines throughout Canada, USA and Mexico.

Mr. Pace has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a Professional Engineer (P.E.).
